The Children Before Us

The Children Before Us exhibit explores what it was like to be a child in the early 1900s. You will learn about the perils of infancy, the rise of schooling for children, and the popular toys and entertainments of the time.

You will also have the chance to experience the toys enjoyed by these children in our interactive toy section.
