Norma's Home
Permanent Exhibit (continuously being updated)
|
In Norma's Home, you will find many electrical appliances that made life much easier since they became accessible and affordable. Some of these include a television, refrigerator, sewing machines, and a washing machine. During the 1930s, 40s, and 50s, the way that household duties and chores were performed was very different compared to today. This exhibit was revamped in 2019 in honor of Norma Kirkpatrick, a long-time benefactor of the museum and an advocate for the importance of preserving local history. We continue to add artifacts to, and adjust Norma's home. |
