6 p.m. Happy hour, with drinks available for purchase from Abner's. Strolling magicians, T.J. Regul and Stu Yager, will amaze you with their close-up magic skills!

Meet and greet following show
Luis Carreon is an award-winning magician and mentalist based in Chicago, Illinois.
Carreon is a founding ensemble member of the Chicago Magic Lounge and a regular at Hollywood’s famed Magic Castle. He also shares his craft with others by teaching magicians nationwide and serving as the head demonstrator at Magic Inc., the country’s oldest family-owned magic shop. He is known for his dynamic blend of sophistication, illusion, and worldly humor.

Strolling Magic with Stu Yager and T.J. Regul
Stu Yager is an award-winning magician based in Avon, Illinois. He has performed magic professionally for over 40 years, specializing in walk-around magic as well as close-up magic at clubs, cocktail events, and restaurants.
Yager performs magic every Thursday at The Packing House in Galesburg, Illinois, and often takes part in The Great Nicola Magic Festival. We are delighted to have him join us again for this year’s Magic Festival.

Children’s Show with KooKoo
Meet and greet following show
KooKoo The Cartoon Magician specializes in cartoon magic and is based in Douglassville, Pennsylvania.
KooKoo combines traditional illusions with cartoon-like abilities for a one-of-a-kind show that brings laughter and surprises to any audience. Inspired by artists and works such as The Marx Brothers, Looney Tunes, Roger Rabbit, and many more, KooKoo defies logic in ways only cartoon characters and drawings can do.
KooKoo’s career as a performing magician began over a decade ago, while he was working in retail. During long hours of very little foot traffic at work, KooKoo would practice his sleight of hand skills, and before long, customers were coming into the shop just to see him perform. Eventually, KooKoo decided to pursue magic full time, which has been a rewarding and amazing experience for him.

Children's Magic Workshop with T.J. Regul
T.J. Regul is based in Bellevue, Iowa and is known as The Quad City Magician.
Regul performs and leads workshops for kids in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Through his work, he inspires, amazes and brings laughter to his audience with up-close magic, stage magic, and his speedy balloon twisting skills. You will also see Regul performing close-up magic at the festival. He is also a member of our Magic Fest committee, and we are thrilled to have him joining us once again.

Matinee Performance with Christian Manahl CHRISTIAN MANAHLCHRISTIAN MANAHL
Meet and greet following show
Christian Manahl is a magician and comedian based in Wichita, Kansas.
Manahl began his stage career by acting in starring roles in the Ames Community Theater and at Iowa State University. In 2017, he launched his magic career at a talent competition and has since performed magic across the Midwest.
In 2021, Manahl won the Midwest Championship of Comedy in Des Moines, Iowa, and in 2023, he became resident magician at the Loony Bin Wichita Comedy Club. There, he performed his show on a monthly basis before winning the silver medal at the PCAM Comedy Magic competition in San Diego. Whether on stage or up-close, Manahl knows how to entertain and wow his audience with engaging humor and modern magic.

Grand Finale Performance with Mark Presley
Meet and greet following show
Mark Presley is a professional magician based in Fox River Grove, Illinois.
He offers a variety of experiences such as stage magic, close-up magic, grand illusion shows, corporate event magic, and more. Presley also shares tips and tricks through the courses he offers in his program, Presley School of Magic.
His journey as a magician began at age six when his father took him to a Chicago magic shop. At age ten, he performed for a live audience for the first time and knew he had found his calling.
Presley continued to develop his passion for magic and has since built his own career as a magician. He is living his childhood dream as a magician, giving people a sense of wonder, joy and laughter.
