​New Exhibits Opening Spring 2023!


The mission of this corporation is to collect, preserve, educate, and display historical items, structures, monuments, and landmarks related to Warren County, Illinois. The museum exists to enrich the public understanding of developments that took place in Warren County. We are here to provide a resource to the public of educational and instructional value. Our goal is to enhance community learning in a family-oriented way and to be an economic benefit to Warren County, Illinois.

The museum staff has spent the last few months designing new exhibits, planning events, and updating the building. Through your generous support, we hope to renovate our large event hall, add multiple new event spaces, and more! We look forward to seeing you in the spring!

Established in 1970, the museum's purpose is to preserve Warren County's artifacts and educate the community about local history. From spring through fall, our exhibits are open to the public, with free admission. The collections area is open for members to view by appointment only.

​Fine Art & Vendor Show
​Saturday, April 22nd, 2023
10 AM - 4 PM

Join us for an afternoon of shopping from local artists, vendors, and crafters! Food trucks will be set up for vendors and patrons. Kids can enjoy demonstrations of how to make corn husk dolls just like the Native Americans and European settlers used to! Clay creations and coloring pages will also be available for kids activities. 

This is the first Saturday of the year the museum will be open again to the public! Check out our amazing new exhibits, become a museum member, and shop our newly curated gift shop!
