Your History, Preserved
At the Warren County History Museum, we keep history alive through preservation, hands-on education, and interesting events, including the annual Great Nicola Magic Festival. We have something for everyone to enjoy, from our Civil War collection to a Country School Room and Plants of the Prairie, a seasonal outdoor exhibit.
From spring through fall, our exhibits are open to the public, with free admission. The collections area is open by appointment only.

With All My Heart
Our friends at the Buchanan Center for the Arts have installed an exhibit by artist Ranjoo Youn at the Warren County History Museum. The BCA is proud to bring this artist's work to the United States for the first time ever. Ranjoo's work emphasizes geometric shapes and the Japanese technique of Kintsugi. The exhibit is on display until July 10, 2026.
Warren County Bicentennial
As part of our celebrations to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Warren County, the Warren County Historical Society has begun an oral history project to preserve stories about the early settlers in the county. These memories are important for our community and help to provide context for the objects that we collect.
