Norma's Home

Semi-Permanent Exhibit

In Norma's Home, you will find many electrical appliances that made life much easier since they became accessible and affordable. Some of these include a television, refrigerator, sewing machines, and a washing machine.

During the 1930s, 40s, and 50s, the way that household duties and chores were performed was very different compared to today.

This exhibit was revamped in 2019 in honor of Norma Kirkpatrick, a long-time
benefactor of the museum and an advocate for the importance of preserving local history.
