Sarah attended the University of Oklahoma, where she completed archaeological field work in Israel. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma Baptist University, majoring in Archaeology and minoring in History. Sarah's museum experience includes roles with the DesMoines Historical Society and the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. As a professional geneologist at Ancestry.com, she was a credited researcher on the NBC TV series: "Who Do You Think You Are?" For fun, she attends auctions and estate sales where she collects antiques and helps her dad sell items at his antique shop in Burlington, IA. She also serves as a Monmouth Area Chamber Ambassador. If you have any questions about our collections, exhibits, or would like to do research, please contact Sarah at director@wchistorymuseum.com

Alyssa graduated from Monmouth College with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and Public Relations. Originally from Gurnee, IL, she was Miss Gurnee in 2015 where she worked with a lot of non-profits and volunteer organizations. She is also a Certified Professional Wedding & Event Planner through the Wedding Planning Institute. She serves on various planning committees within the community through her work as a Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce. In addition to her work at the museum, Alyssa runs Revelry Weddings & Events through the Tri-State Wedding Network. In the free time she does have, she enjoys knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, and spending time with her 5 rescue cats.
