The Magician of Monmouth
Available Until December 2018
The Great Nicola may not be a household name today, but in the early 20th century, this Monmouth native was known around the world for his illusions and magical performances. This exhibit contains dozens of artifacts that relate to Nicola’s life and career that spanned the early part of the 1900s, including playbills, photographs, posters, and even an illusion used by Nicola himself. The story of this master magician is a unique and larger-than-life part of our local history.
Schedule your visit today and make sure to join us for the Great Nicola Magic Festival that pays homage to this world-class entertainer. The festival will be held at the Warren County History Museum on April 21, 2018. Also be sure to check out the other exhibits on display during your visit.
